1. We have been making handpumps before anyone else. SKI was approved for India Mark 2 by UNICEF in 1977.

2. We make most of the parts ourselves and do not procure them from outside. This results in better quality control. From the casting of the cylinders ( we have a cupola furnace ) to Galvanizing ( we have an in house galvanizing plant ) and all those critical operations in between, we do it all ourselves.
